Listen, and let these words soothe you
Let your mind rest right here for a while
On a soft cushion of phrases
By the fire of imagination;
Let your heart be the rhythm
And the Spirit – a stratagem
To leave all your troubles behind,
Here – there won’t be any kind:
In the river of sweet sounding verse
Let your perception immerse,
In the valley where expressions roll
Let inspiration touch your soul
In the mountains of understanding
Let heaven make a landing
Come and eat this word driven through me
Digest and agree, so you can see.
But soon, when this mind wave is broken
Take its vision as a token
Add to your own rhyme and rhythm
Make them your mindset and live ‘em.
